Position: Sales Development Rep/Inside Sales Rep
We are seeking a Sales Development Rep/Inside Sales person as as a key member of our sales team. Based in the Alpharetta, GA area, he/she will be joining Channel Mechanics at a key point in our expansion—we have grown dramatically and are now building out the sales team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for building a great company and sales organization. This position will have the opportunity to advance into an Account Executive role.
Generate leads by cold calling, lead generation activities, and networking
Follow up on sales inquiries from inbound emails and phone calls
Strong telephone and web-based demonstration skills
Qualify potential customers with thorough screening on initial conversations
Utilize CRM tools to maintain and update contacts and leads
Target specific geographic patches and work closely with Regional Sales Managers, Sales Engineers and Partners to ensure thorough market penetration
This is a startup and this position is expected to wear many hats
Leveraging your teammates to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging in order to drive opportunities in regional areas
Meeting or exceed your quota
Staying up-to-date on email cadence and industry trends and competition
Recording and documenting all calls and communications in CRM
Monitoring social web for sales opportunities and leads
Reporting on weekly results, activity milestones both qualitative and quantitative
Strong, independent work ethic with flexibility to work both in an office and at home
Work Experience and Education:
1+ years in a sales or lead generation role within software industries
BS/BA in a technical or business discipline is required
Proficient use in LinkedIn and CRM
Strong organizational and time management skills
Successful track record of exceeding sales quotas and top rankings
