May 2020 brings with it some great news with the addition of a new team member to the Channel Mechanics Team. We are delighted to be announcing the appointment of Liam Kilcline to our EMEA headquarters, in Galway, Ireland.
Liam takes up the position of Quality Assurance Associate. In his role, Liam will focus on helping to ensure the integrity of our channel automation software experience for our users.
Liam graduated from the National University of Ireland, Galway in 2016 with a B.A. in Irish and Geography. Upon graduation, Liam caught the travel bug and decided to relocate to Vietnam. Initially, his plan was to spend six months traveling South-East Asia.
However, after the initial six months, Liam made the decision to stay in Hanoi to live and experience local life. During his time in Vietnam, he taught English in secondary level schools and covered a lot of Asia during his time off. He also used his time to upskill in the area of quality assurance. Liam returned to Ireland in December 2019.
Outside of work, Liam loves hurling and all things G.A.A. In fact, he plays for his local team. On top of this, he is passionate about writing and playing music. He formed the band Yes We See with lifetime friend Shane Finneran, another member of the Channel Mechanics team.
“I’m really excited to be joining Channel Mechanics as this time. I’ve tracked their growth over past few years and watched as they grew from a start-up to their status today as a world class leader in channel enablement. I’m excited to learn more about channel automation and grow my skills with the team” Liam Kilcline
